Thank you for looking at my auction for my much loved VW T4 Camper, Vera.
Please read my whole advert before viewing or asking questions.
She is 1992 non power steering 2lt petrol Autosleeper Trident with full service history including recent one in June which includes  brake fluid.
We have been on many adventures together around the UK having just returned from 700 mile round trip to Devon,where we averaged 29 MPG and that included some hilly stuff across Dartmoor
She has never missed beat and never broken down.
Everything works as it should the fridge works on 240v/12V and gas, the gas grill and rings work, the invertor runs like it should as well as the 12v charging system, the Propex heater is lovely and hot too.
It also has the optional extra roof fan which blows as well as sucks fresh air.
DAB radio with USB music too.
Onboard 70lt water tank with new pump
Rock and roll bed works smoothly so does the captains seat.
All original Interior and curtains although the fly screens are showing there age so don't use them.
I have changed all the strip lights for LED so it runs well off the grid  and with the fridge on gas wild camping isn't problem.
No water leaks anywhere.
I have shoe box full of paperwork including the original hand typed manual, all the appliance manuals,loads of service paperwork and stamped service book.
The van will sleep with in the roof,although they would have to be children as its quite tight in that high top and has lap belts in the rear.
I am only selling due to having moved to new house and wont have time to enjoy any adventures for while.
I wouldnt hesitate in jumping in her and driving anywhere in the UK at the drop of hat.
She is starting to get few rust blisters (see pics) on the outside as with any van of this age but the structure and underneath are sound please check out the old MOTs on the government website to see there has been no rust issues in the past.
No fluid leaks at all, come and see my nice clean driveway.
All vacuum hoses replaced this year.
I am the registered owner on the V5 and have both set of keys.
MOT till 9/1/20 and it only costs me £170 year to insure including commuting.
Currently on 120000 miles this will go up as I'm using her for day trips out .
Any inspection is welcome but please don't come expecting shiny new van she is in great condition for her age.
She is no race horse and will sit at 60 or more if you want, MPG will suffer. Also please be aware that there is no power steering and although this isn't an issue for me it could be for you if you have never driven non PAS van,my wife is 5'2 and she manages ok with it.
I have also fitted gearstick extender which makes for much easier gear changes.
She starts every time and selects gears nicely and drives how an old van should, plus being 1992 no catalytic convertor to worry about,also no central locking or electric windows to go wrong as its all good old fashioned manual stuff.
I will be taking out all my personal and camping equipment, toilet, gas bottles, hook up unless otherwise stated in the advert.
