Volkswagen t4 2.5 tdi camper 145k but good history and recent big £900 cambelt service.This is one of the best designed camper vans on the market, bilbos make excellent quality conversions, you can tell from the catches and hinges matching trim and curtains etc and thoughtful design, it’s more like new yacht or boat than the mdf diy conversions that are being done on old plumbers vans. It was converted by bilbos from brand new high spec van that has electric windows electric mirrors central locking and the rare air conditioning option.In the back there’s the fold out bed, hob sink fridge couple of tables and the roof pops up so you can stand for getting changed or cooking.It also has massive drive away awning tent that is about the same size as the van. Also included are the original Vw spoke alloys on good tyres. got these steel ‘swamper’ Style off road ones as they look cool. Bit noisier on motorway etc. But it adds to the looks!The front captain seats spin round and have arm rests and the bed is just lever pull away. There’s tons of storage cubbies for everything needed for trips to Tesco or across Europe.its actually smaller than Ford mondeo estate so could be used everyday and won’t lose money on it as I’d expect this not to depreciate for the foreseeable future. Basically maintain it and sell for what you paid in couple years, it’s free motoring, how many other cars can you say that about! It does fit in the Sainsbury’s multi-storey car park opposite me for filling up with snacks for the summer road trips!The back seat has belts for the kids and they’re way back so can’t kick your seat and they can plug their pads and phones into the sockets!It’ll cruise at 80-85 (on the autobahn!) and it’s been totally reliable, I’d happily take it to wherever you could mention, France Spain Morocco Egypt, West Wittering, the world is your lobster. It did get run around Ireland last year by my sister and she loved the adventure.You could Instagram your entire trip! Or fill it up with the kids and dog and head to the hills every weekend and when you’re there make you’re own coffee not pay £3.50 cup.It’s got plenty of bills and the spare set of wheels, gas bottle for the hob. I’ve never stayed in it so not sure on the operations of all the electrics or fridge but there is lead for onsite hook up or on your driveway.It’s has dings and scrapes but there’s no rips or tears, the fridge smells as it’s not been cold needs cleaning and airing, anyway I’m not wanting perfect money, these go for £15-19k if mint but this has been loved instead, like your favourite toy, so it’s got that ‘patina’ like say. Have bid and then have an adventure. Even if it to take the dog to the garden centre and fill it up with plants and compost. Who knows! And to be fair bit of bodywork and clean and it would be mint. All the original fixtures are there! Ps it’s blimmin excellent on fuel, not being the top bhp think it’s the 102bhp but I’m no expert, it’s the cylinder 2.5 with blue ‘i’ on the badge.Van in Hampton SW London. Come and see.
