Vera is 1988 Mercedes Vario 709d, preivously my live-in. I'm selling her as now live in house with my wife. She is project for anyone with the skills. I'm selling her as the project has become to big for my skill level. She needs fair amount of welding and general mechanical maintenance. The MOT ran out February this year. Vera has such features as:Kitchen with fridge which is gas and electrically operated, full gas oven with hob, sink with hot/cold tap, storage cupboards and cutlery draw. There is shower room/toilet. The shower head needs to be replaced and it needs to be resealed. The toilet is cassette toilet which is emptied outside via door. There is comfy seating area next to the kitchen with enough room to seat at least people and table which can be collapsible.At the rear she has gas cylinder wood burner which has more than enough capacity to warm even the coldest of people. The bed double which is raised to hip level over storage area which can be accessed by either lifting the bed or via door. The back doors open up to good sized shelves. There is also access to the under bed storage area which opens into the interior via little door. made it this was so that there easy dry access to wood for the burner in the winter. She has water heater and hot air blower.Solar panels are connected to leisure batteries. The engine starts every time which is better than my car. She is great to drive and does good mileage for her size and weight. The slide door lock is needs work as the operating handles as perished and need to be replaced.It is shame for Vera to leave the family as we have had some fantastic adventures over the years but now it is time for her to find new home with someone who can give the care she needs.
