Dear Prospective Owner,
I lived sheltered life my first 36 year. It seems that was kept in the garage lot and didn't get out much. Then, met my current owners, Kevin and Pat the Cat. After that everything changed.
On January 11, 2017, we hit the road from Atlanta... destination unknown. For four months we were inseparable... trekking through Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
As the journey began, my owner added new tires and we hit the road. Soon after, learned what boondocking was all about with the addition of solar, 100AH battery, controller, and 1500 watt inverter. With the solar and 30 gallon water bladder (that is included, too), we were able to stay "off grid" at some amazing places. You can see all of the pics from our four month adventure on Instagram by clicking here.
Along the way, also gained some cool stuff, includingLED bulbs12v plugUSB outletcloset shelvespropane guage/leak detectorsecond propane tanknew sink faucetwater pumpBreathing Mobile Clothes WasherLuggable Loo toilet seat12v showeradditional light (replacing old propane lamp)trailer locksmoke/fire alarmseveral water hoses and filterLots of other little goodies were picked up along the way. They are included... along with all of the items listed above.
The only hiccup we had along the way was with the first two solar panels that were added. These heavier, adjustable panels came detached while we were traveling. Luckily, no one was hurt. It did leave few holes in my top, but these were patched and sealed with no leaks. still have couple of "L" brackets on the roof from the first panels (see pics). We kept these on in case we wanted to strap something lightweight to the roof, but they can easily be removed.
After losing the two panels, Kevin realized that we didn't need that much power, so he added single 100-watt lightweight flexible solar panel after this, and we were soaking up the sun and loving it. The single panel was enough. We had enough power for my lights and water pump, along with Kevin's phone, portable hotspot and laptop.
We returned to Atlanta on May 6. Kevin is ready for new adventure and SO AM I. Buy me and lets hit the road.
My four month adventure was once-in-a-lifetime experience... so many wonderful places... Lake Mead, the Grand Canyon, Slab City, Coachella, Joshua Tree, and Carlsbad Caverns just to name few.
I am big fan of the 80s, so tried to keep everything as original as possible. The walls, floors, curtains, cushions, along with most everything else are all original. Of course, you can make it your own, but love Scotty's style... as is.
