This is really cool 1978 Dodge Xplorer 19 foot Class Camper Van that is rare, fun, and just plain cool. The vintage van scene is as hot as anything right now. You can be Vannin today in this classic Mopar. If you do not like talking to people, cool old rig is not for you. Everybody loves this thing and it will draw crowd at any beach, surf spot, or camping spot you take it to. The Explorer is really nice original. It still retains it's original paint. It is lifelong Arizona and California truck that has no rust. The body is excellent. It is not perfect by any means, but it is very nice. The body is very straight. The interior is excellent. It has booth with table that also folds into bed. It has full size, full time bed across the back that is so much better that sleeping in cab over bed. It technically sleeps but the last two people would have to be pretty small up front. It features sink, stove, refrigerator, cold air conditioning, bathroom, shower, propane, etc. Pretty much everything you need to go camping today. The upholstery is very nice and very clean. It is powered by 360 cubic inch Dodge V-8. It has plenty of power, is extremely easy to drive, and will cruise right past the big buses on the way up the mountain. You can park in normal parking spot with these. It makes traveling much less stressful and fun. It has power steering, power brakes, and also has engine AC which gets cool but not cold. The back tires are new. The fronts have some life left but will need replacing eventually. The windshield has rock chip in the very center that has started to run. It does not affect driveability. will try to have that replaced before anyone takes it. have had Chinook. have had an Airstream. While those are extremely cool in their own right, this gets more attention than any of them. My 20 foot Argosy motorhome was probably the only one that got more looks. CALIFORNIA BUYERS TAKE NOTE: This has always been registered in AZ and has never even attempted to pass the strict CA smog test. do not know if it even has all the correct smog equipment on it so if you choose to buy it for registration in California you are buying it as is and must smog it yourself. All in all, this is just cool vintage RV/van that do not think anybody will be disappointed with.
