bought this 1976 Spencer Cherrypicker some 14 years ago and have used it around my yard/garden ever since. got it out today and it had developed hydraulic leak. I've always meant to restore it but realise at my age this is now unlikely to happen as have more pressing projects. The unit has good Perkins 6354 diesel that starts on the button and sounds good. The hydraulics are powered by an electric start Lister ST1 diesel and Dowty pump.Now then, here's the rare thing, other than the doors one of which have in for repair, the cab is in first class order feature virtually unknown for old Dodge's Commer's that come up for sale which are normally rotted through.I do realise that broken into component parts the vehicle has reasonable value but would rather sell in one piece than cut the thing up and muck around.
