 All WELHAM MOTOR CO. reconditioned engines are fully strippeddown, re-machined and built up using either new or reconditioned parts. Cylinder heads   Fully strippeddown, acid bathed and/or hot washed.   Pressuretested and inspected for cracks.   Valve guidesinspected for wear. Repaired or replaced if necessary.   Valves renewedwith components comparable to OE parts.   Valve seatschecked for wear, refaced or replaced if necessary.   Refaced on ourstate of the art ROTTLER facing machine.   Rebuilt usingnew stem seals. Cylinder Blocks  Inspected for damage and machined or replaced ifneeded.  Crank journals checked for size and line bored ifnecessary.  Bores either machine honed, if within tolerance, or boredto over sizes on our state of the art CNC ROTTLER boring machine or lineredback to standard. All with machine hone finish.  Block face decked where possible. Crankshaft  Inspected for wear, damage and cracks.  Either polished or reground as required. Camshafts  Checked for wear and straightness.  Replaced if any defects. Rebuild parts  Pistons replaced with components comparable to OEparts to suit bore dimensions.  Crankshaft bearings replaced with new.  All gaskets replaced.  New oil and water pump fitted. Fuel work  Our engines come with reconditioned fuel injectors andfuel pumps. All repaired by our sister company WELHAM DIESEL INJECTION CO.  New Fuel delivery tubes fitted. Turbo  Turbos can be supplied with our engines but asdifferent turbos are fitted in different applications, we will need some moreinformation in the form of turbo number which in most cases can be found fromeither registration or engine serial number. This will incur an extra charge. We will need to confirm engine to vehicle application but this can bedone 99% of the time from registration number or failing that the enginenumber. Any more information needed feel free to ask.
