I purchased this motor home approx year ago and drove it from Lisbon Portugal to Ayamonte, Spain. About 400 KM.On the way home it broke down about 20 times. Each time bled the diesel system and it was perfect, no smoke, drove lovely. After while it started to smoke and broke down again. i bled it again and it was perfect again. No smoke. When bled the engine over and over again the diesel ran all down the engine and onto the gear box many times.When arrived in Spain KM from home there was large hill and the gear box seemed to slip bit.I made it home ok and parked up the motor home. when went to try it the next day the gear box was doing strange things and now just has forward gears. Also when you put it in reverse it goes forward. Maybe the diesel got inside the gear box, don't really know. The situation now is Portuguese mechanic has semi changed the fuel filter housing left it half done and haven't seen him since. Then Spanish mechanic drained the fuel tank completely put the old housing back on it and haven't seen him since either.I think it still has the fuel air leak problem. It does run. so sold as seen as non runner. I am absolutely gutted to sell it this way because when drove it back from Portugal when it wasn't breaking down it drove like dream.I don't think that there is too much wrong with the engine but maybe it needs gear box. really don't know.
Sold as non runner. Buyer collects. Needs transporting somehow.

(Is there anyone out there with an Auto GearBox for Winnie Bago. It has written on the side of it Hydramatic. 24200726-3. The Chassis Number is lgbkp37F6R3327079Engine Number 3327079.
I've been told that 4L80E fits it.
Any info or help on this matter would be greatfully Received. )
-------------------------------------------------------------(Since advertised this vehicle last, had an amazing guy called Graham who within one hour had the Winnie ticking over nicely. Got the genny running, and got the boiler working, etc, etc, etc. he explained there is very good chance the gearbox has come to the end of its days. But maybe repairable by an expert.)
