I've owned this van since 2012. It's been amazing. we've taken her everywhere. It changed our lives and as result, we bought VW crafter too and have been using both for the last year, but need to shrink the garage and we're very sad to let this one go. No expense was spared when putting this together, it's been long road and parts have also been added along the journey.
It was originally DHL delivery van and was limited to 3000 RPM so the engine was never stressed or overworked. removed the limiter and had her remapped. She now moves much better with improved fuel efficiency. literally, drives like the old VW golf used to, almost go-kart like.
It's been fully insulated and had sound deadening added to all panels. It has Propex gas night heater. The units are beautifully made and look fantastic, it's an ivory Formica worktop and cherry gloss veneer cabinets. They house plenty of storage, plus sink, hob SMEV 9222 stove and Waeco 50l 12v fridge freezer. There is also Sargent power management hub with switches for the 12v light, 12v sockets, battery meter, and 240v sockets. There's 110AH battery with professional 240v-12v split charger and power manager. There is 12v TV/DVD with amplified ariel that works almost everywhere.
The rock and roll bed is comfy and takes roughly 4/5 of the width of the van. I'm 6'2 and there's still room at either end. Being the LWB version there is loads of room even with the bed out. There is there are locking seatbelts.
The sound system is pretty special. Pioneer AVIC-F950DAB head unit with Alpine pre-amp feed to ats also has the reversing camera feed which comes on automatically when is engaged.
All internal lights have been changed to LED. locking switch added to dash so you can lock yourself in when parked up. Cobra alarm/immobiliser system, Loads of 12v power mods to run more efficiently and use less battery. Rear lights and all side lights are LED.
The side windows are original VW flush sliders, not the cheap horrid looking aftermarket versions. The wheels are RangeRover 19's with low profile tyres on. (feels like VW golf!!). Van has chrome sidebars and colour coded bumpers in VW Candy white.

Bad bits. - it's 2009 van. It's covered some miles but got many more left in her. All the bad is cosmetic, the van would love new spray but I'll leave that for the new owner to consider. The paint that's on her now is fine and looks great from distance but it's not showroom so please don't expect so. Stone chips here and there. Nothing more than you would expect from 2009 van. One rear light has small crack in but has been hidden with tape making it near invisible. couple of nicks in the tyres. highly recommend coming to look at the van. test drives possible before the end of the month when the tax expires.
