Our loved camper originally started out as VW T5 shuttle van, we wanted this as base model for our conversion on this as it fell into the lower tax bracket and you could drive over 60mph and to the legal motorway speed limit as this was classed as shuttle van. This van is rare twin slider and tailgate model, in my opinion the best colour they did. We then fitted the van with full T5.1 facelift front end and the full sportline kit which really sets the van apart from the others. We have fitted fully adjustable Coilovers with the later BMW X5 staggered alloys also had the rear wheel bearings replaced at the same time. The engine has had the following: New dark side camshaft with the ina black lifters. When the camshaft was replaced full cambelt and water pump kit was fitted around 30k ago.It’s genuine tandem pump and fuel pump, injector seals and injector loom replaced around 30k ago.The clutch and flywheel was replaced around 20k ago. The gearbox was also replaced around 60k ago at vw using all new genuine parts. The interior conversion has had the following: Fully sound proofed and insulated the carpeted to very high standard. Touch sensitive spot lights in the roof.Leather front seat covers, the matching rear seat covers to suit. Fully fitted black out insulated curtains.Smev 9222 cooker unit with sink and twin hob, this unit was made by T4life.Weaco cr50 fridge, with custom built in unit.There is X2 240v plug sockets with trip switches along with X2 12v cigarette lighter sockets.Customs full out bed, which is very comfy.Running leisure battery but also electric hook up for on site.Full privacy glass all round. Comes with stacks of history and paperwork. The bodywork is in good condition for its age, regularly cleaned and polished. The only reason am selling as I’ve just bought new T6.
