VW T5 shuttle 2.5 TDI 130bhp 2005 163,000 miles, 12 monthsMOT, silver.  Partly convertedcamper.  Twin side loading doors, fullleather in great condition throughout. Stainless roof bars with thule aerobars. Privacy glass for much nicer look and sliding rear side windows.Electric windows at the front. ABS, central locking, upgraded MP3 player &drivers arm rest. Led interior lights. seats but all rear seats can be takenout by quick release and the front passenger seats fold down.
I have owned this van for almost two years.  originally bought to convert to camper,but found out the wife was pregnant, so the plans got put on hold(permanently).  It's been sat on my drivefor most of the time and we've only been out few times (bought at 160k miles, now 163k).  Love the van, but seems pointless not beingused.  Therefore selling.
For my original project, wanted to keep the ability tohave seats and boot space, but also use as camper so the whole boot kit folds down and can be taken out.  started by making the vehicle mechanically sound (£3k worth ofreceipts).  then had the vanprofessionally insulated, sound deadened and carpeted.  Next, had wardrobe unit insatlled thiscontains the diesel night heater, and the electrics are next tothis.  With all this retained theoriginal AC (goes through the roof) never use it though and not sure whetherit's working.  also had removeablebed base made and several USBs installed.  Oh, recently bought double swivel too, but haven't fitted it properly yet.  All this was totalled £4k. Soon after we got the van, found out my wife was pregnant and everythingstopped so it's been part finished project ever since.  She doesn't want to go camping, so no chance of us really using it in the future :-(  Anyway, it's got the main partsconverted and would be perfect for someone ready to finish the project.  If were keeping it, would spend bit more money and add the following:Nice set of wheelsFinish the kitchen podSwivel base on front seats (already has double, just need driver seat).
In terms of history, the previous owner used it as familyvan for camping and general use. They had it for about years and told me theybought it from dealer.  Not sure ofit's history before this, but there's no significant gaps and the previousseller has numerous receipts for work completed.  So it's been looked after.
It’s great van to drive, in pretty good condition for theyear.  There are few minor scuffs and alittle rust showing but all in all tidy T5. Before buying it, did full check and there were no issues. 
If it’s any use, if you’re looking to convert to camper, Istill have side unit bought could throw this in for £150.  Otherwise will sell separately.
