1992 Volkswagen T4 Autosleeper Trooper (2-litre petrol) in beautiful condition with low mileage. At the recent MOT our mechanic commented that the chassis and bodywork are both in amazing condition for the age of the van. We bought it from dealership years ago and the previous owner had taken great care of it for many years.The interior is the original factory Autosleeper Trooper fit-out with all original fixtures and fittings in good working order (fully tested and used last year). These include:- Pop top with sleeping compartment for 2- Pull out double bed- Rotating passenger seat- 3-point seatbelts (1 in back, in the front) and lap belt- Sink with tap connected to the water tank- Central dining table- small swivelling side table that can be pulled outside the van (handy for BBQs)- 3-way fridge freezer (powered by gas, electric hook-up or battery)- burner gas hob and grill- CD player and radio- Lots of storage- Central heating (we haven't ever needed to use, but was working when we bought the van)- Fire alarm- Electric hook-up- Drive-away awning- Chocks- Full spare gas bottle- Tow bar (we've not used)
We are also including...
- very good quality drive-away Vango awning (that we purchased new for £650 couple of years ago) which attaches to the side of the van and provides separate living and sleeping area. It's air-filled so goes up really easily and quickly and there are no poles to fiddle about with.
- fitted Fiamma bike rack which holds bikes and can be upgraded to hold 4. We bought for around £250 new.
We love Fernando (so named because he's super trooper!) and will be very sad to see him go but unfortunately, recent house move and lack of parking are forcing us to sell. As mentioned above the bodywork and chassis are in amazing condition considering the age of the van – there is absolutely no filler and as far as we know all the paintwork is original. There are some minor scrapes and superficial rust spots which can be dealt with easily but we've decided to leave for the purposes of selling rather than cover up, and couple of areas of bare metal which show the rust-free condition of the bodywork (see pics).
We regularly drive to London so would consider delivering there or somewhere on route (please check with us first).
