VW T4 Van Campervan SWB
Reluctant sale of my VW camper/day van. Recently transformed the interior for road trip to Spain this Summer with my son. 2000 miles round trip and the trusty van did not miss beat. We did 850 miles in single day and ran like dream.
Recent Mods for trip.- Custom Built bed. Transforms from single/sofa to double bed 140cm 190cm2 Access points for storage from the top and from the rear. Bed sides and slats from recycled wood. Note the bed can be removed if preferred. - Sofa/ bed mattress- Hook up to 16 amp Mains Electrics, Fuse Box, sockets, USBs. Long Cable and adapters to UK and European Plugs- Seats up front, New Seat Covers- Double Swivel Plate: Allows double Front seat to face the rear of the van (amazing mod)- Wooden Shelf- 28 inch Smart TV (only included at very near to asking price) remote
- Leisure Battery: runs Roof Spot Lights, 12 volt cigarette socket USBs- Insulated, ply lined and carpeted interior- Alloy Wheels- Sliding Door- Rear Tailgate Door- Seats upfront- Roof Rack. Roof Box NOT INCLUDED-Roof Fan-electrics for tow bar do exist
A great VW T4 van. As mentioned above it has leisure battery that powers the interior spotlights, couple of UBS sockets and 12 volt socket.Once at campsite you pop out one of the false fog lights to reveal the cable 16 amp to hook up to the sites mains. For near asking i'll also throw in the adapter cables for Uk Mains and Euro plugs.
When running off the mains we have UK plug sockets and extra USBs. In the campsite used the sockets to power my Smart TV (Watching Netflix), Chiller Box (not included), electric fan and to charge my phone
Again only for near asking i'll include the T4 custom window shades. They worked excellently in Spain keeping us cool. They are aqua blue on the inside, keeping in with the blue interior theme.Swivel plate include cost £215 and is possibly the best mod. Turning the front double seat round to face inside really does add so much usable room. 
The bed was custom build to my specification. wanted an expanding bed which when in it's smallest form left room to transport motorbike. as single/sofa is 80cm 190cm and then pulls out to double size 190 140. Mattress only weeks old, bought for the road trip. 
Bed can be removed if preferred. For those who wish for the Rock and Roll type beds there are pre-drilled attachment holes so fitting should be straight forward. Just let me know in advance and can remove. Took 18 hours building the custom bed so if you intend to take out, may as well keep it.
The van is registered as van, but believe if you were to apply to register as day van it would reduce the insurance even further. only pay around £350 living in London. Naturally there is some wear and tear for van of this age so please do come to view. Don't expect showroom van, but instead great workhorse that's still going strong and has so much more life to give. Anyone who knows about the T4 will agree: It may have high miles, but she'll do the same again anyway.Only reason i'm selling is because I've just done my roadtrip and live in the low emissions zone in London. I'll certainly be sad to see her go...
