We're reluctantly selling Orbit!

It was always our dream to own VW Camper and we decided to tick it off the life goal list before having children!  it's not getting the use it deserves.

Whilst I've always loved them, I'm not knowledgable when it comes to vehicles. It's little embarrassing when enthusiasts approach you wanting to talk about your van and they know more about it than you do but that's the way it is and I've not needed to understand the technicalities to love every minute we've spent away with it.

Consequently this description is going to be fairly brief.

What can say is that the people we bought it from had fully reconditioned the van with custom built interior. It's immaculate and one of kind. It's fully equipped with Rock/Roll bed, fridge, gas cooker, interior lamps, 240v power points, electric hookup and leisure battery. The use of space is one of the best I've seen in one of these vans. Everything in it is new and has been lovingly maintained. It looks as good as the day we bought it. Not knowing about the vans and making such an expensive purchase, we took good friend of ours along who works in the trade who advised on buying it. He said it was one of the best examples of such model that he'd seen.

Likewise, the exterior both the body work and chassis is in excellent condition. I've had the van serviced each year (last and this) and had bits and pieces done at the same time such as fitting an immobiliser and wax oiling the undercarriage. The van's got about 98,000 miles on the clock but the engine was fully re-conditioned when the interior was built and we've done less than 10,000 miles since then. The milage wasn't reset with the new engine re-build. Engine size 1.6, MOT Nov 2019
