In truth would notbe selling my toys unless had no other option, but that's anotherstory and not why you are looking at this advert.

1971 VW baywindow camper van. Last year with the small oval rear lights and lowfront indicators. Great project for someone that doesn't want to dealwith removing rust before getting stuck into finishing it off. Lots and lotsof work done, replacement panels have already been pre fit/mocked upready to weld in place and most of the hard stuff is done. Thebodywork is in great condition for its age, no rusted out gutters orwindows (front window bottom replaced already) and it has beenstripped back to metal, so NO heaps of filler and layers of paint toremove that could be hiding problems (we've  all learnt thatlesson... unfortunately).

The panels not yet purchase are for thecab floor and section of cargo floor area behind the driverseat, but both areas have been prepared to install new metal.Underneath is generally good, but it will need the jacking pointsreplaced and part of the drivers side chassis section replacing(chassis part supplied). Also would replace the sliding door as it has has less that perfect repairs done previously and it is missing the bottom runner (its not by any means rubbish, just needs work). The dash has been customised to house set of Porche clocks, but replacement top is there if you want to change it back.

The bus is tax exempt (possibly MOT),and runs on original  black number plates (with greatregistration number). It comes with the original 1600cc single portengine (which the previous owner had worked on), and sounded great when teststarted... it has not been started for while now, butI know it will without too much tinkering. There is kitchen unit(with ring hob and grill) and rock and roll bed, but both needwork. Additional side windows (one louvre and one sliding) asoptions. Replacement handles with keys, roof rack and few other bits and bobs.If you want great VWBay that could be worth £20k+, it would be hard to find anythingbetter as project to finish. am not trying to sell off an oldrotter, this is great bus but my circumstances havechanged.

NOTE... the bus and all associated parts will have to beremoved from my property within approximately week of this auction completing as move out on the 20th May (atrailer is required). If this is not something you can do, thanks for looking but please do not bid.
