Hello.Welcome to the auction of my much loved Campervan.
I have had the van nearly years and it was bought as basic panel van with nothing in the back at all. It has the 1.9 turbo engine and is the preferred tailgate model. Had Mot this week so 12 months remaining. Only service history documented in my ownership but plenty of receipts for work done including services. The van is currently sat on standard steels in the 1st pic as the alloys in the other pics weren't load rated for the van as they came off car.First job was to get an alarm/immobiliser fitted. also have had central locking fitted also.As you can see over time it has had the full camper treatment, sound deadened, insulated, carpeted. This was all professionally installed with all receipts. The cupboard units were installed by myself. They were bought as kit and vinyl wrapped them myself for another van, they do have signs of scratches and scrapes due to house move in-between vans, but are perfectly useable at present. The van has leisure battery located in the engine bay along with VSR for charging purposes. There are numerous usb charging points in the van, various Led lighting, 12v tv/dvd player, sink with running cold water incorporating 10ltr fresh water tank and 10ltr waste tank. I don't have fixed cooker as use camping stove for cooking outside as don't wish to cook inside the van purely for the smells aspect. The 3/4 Rock and Roll bed was bought brand new and looks and works treat. The double passenger seat is on swivel base so can be turned 180 deg for all the family to be facing into the van. There is a removable table. I have has side windows fitted with factory privacy tint and one of the windows is sliding opener. All side and the rear windows have curtains fitted along with cab dividing rail curtain. I have an external window cover for the front windows which not only keeps everything private but does also help with any condensation which is included. The cab has also been carpeted with added cup holders, the stereo and speakers have been upgraded with an added underseat subwoofer which sounds much better. I have installed the clutch strengthening bracket, had the gear short shift upgrade along with the 5th gear upgrade which helps with the van to sit at 70 at lower revs than standard putting less stress on the engine.Upgraded headlights which with the side lights on look like DRLs and look quite good.I have replaced many parts when needed inc new recon turbo, new clutch few weeks ago, its had the timing belt/pump changed 18 months ago, many new parts all with receipts. It has been family Camper and so been maintained to high standard to help keep us out on the road without issue. I've probably missed few things, so please, if you wish to know more, drop me message via eBay.The V5 is in my name and if you are into self build campers you may know that the DVLA are making it much harder to have the logbook changed to Motor Caravan. The reason for the change of classification means that you are able to drive at the same limits as car whereas in van unchanged isn't able to do so. It also helps with insurance, making it cheaper. This van is registered as Motor Caravan, so is an absolute bonus!Viewing is recommended so get in touch. What are the negatives you may ask, my van does have couple but nothing serious for 20 year old van. The paint work is ready for correction, mainly the passenger side is showing few rust patches, as said nothing serious but it doesn't help the van being white. I also believe the front electric windows were fitted at later date and are not factory. The passenger window works from both driver passenger door switch but is slower than the drivers side and the glass seems to squeak against the rubber seal, nothing detrimental, but I'm not here to hide anything. The roof bars are no longer fitted to the van but available if required. The awning in the last pic isn't included, its just to show the screen cover and also what it can look like when out camping!I've tried to be as honest as possible as treat people how expect to be treated. So please don't insult me with low ball offers as they will be ignored and I'm pretty savvy with most scams so don't even try.I am only wishing to sell as have always been fan of the T5 and the sale of this van will help fund my next van. may px this van towards T5 but again, no rubbish and FYI if sell my van at full asking price have approx £2.5k to add to.Thanks for looking and please ask, if you wish for more pics, I'll happily take and add more.
