It was originally VW demonstrator and purchased it in 2003 and it has been awesome. It has always been reliable, serviced and well looked after and has taken us all over the place on holidays and mountain bike trips
It is mechanically sound but does have some age related signs of use such as few minor rust spots, scratches and small dents but it generally in very good condition for the year. The van has had minor knocking noise for the last couple of years but have had this checked by garages and no one can find it and it has passed the MOT's without issue.
It has good tyres all round but the wheels would probably benefit from refurb if you are fussy
Mileage is 186663 but may go up slightly as van is still in use
I had it remapped from the original 88 BHP to approx 110 BHP so it is plenty quick enough for van, it has the desired "VW Pack" which means it has electric windows, heated electric mirrors and Cruise Control !
It has been lowered 40mm and also has Sony CD multichanger under the passenger seat, Extra Passenger door pocket, K&N air filter, DeCat and Toad Alarm/Immobiliser
It has front Captains seats and seater bench seat in the rear that folds forward in seconds for extra load space
It also has the facility to connect leisure battery in the rear which powers an additional light in the load area and power outlets installed in the rear half height bulkhead (ideal for coolbox, phone etc.)
V5 is present as are keys, MOT until 24/12/2019
Below is list of work done over the last few years but have pretty much all receipts for everything have had done. The clutch was replaced at approx 160k
