Volkswagen T4 Camper SWB 1.9 Diesel
I’ve owned this camper for about years in which time I’ve spent lot of money on it getting it to where it is today. 
As you can see from the pictures is dark blue and completely repainted about 4/5 years ago at cost of £3500. I’ve literally only covered few thousand miles in it hence my reason for sale and barely used it in the years. I’ve now young family and it simply is not getting used so it’s now time for someone else to enjoy it. 
The paint work is really lovely through as you’d expect after full repaint relatively recently. There are some very minor marks here and there as to be expected but it does look as good as the pictures. Corrosion wise there is very little (we all know what these T4s are like getting on to 30 years old now!) there are some tiny bits on one or two of the arches coming through but the paint is not broken so you can just keep on top of this if you wish which is what planned to do every few years but all the hard work has already been done. 
It’s fitted with 17 inch Audi wheels with four excellent tyres, all the shocks were replaced just before bought it. It’s fitted with chrome side bars too which look great.
The interior of this T4 is very well kitted out and I’ll list it all as follows but there are couple of things that need finishing off but nothing major at all. 
- captain swivel seat bases with lockable compartments- Alfa 156 front seats. These look great and are very comfortable!- gas cooker and sink (water tank fitted but not plumbed in)- rock and roll bed- leisure battery - ring power source pro 1100w power inverter - leisure battery which is charged by the engine when driving (this is switchable from the dash)- proper fridge that runs off the inverter- front windscreen side window curtains  - centre removable table - cupboard unit - 240v electrical hook up fuse box fitted (I’ve never finished used this so it will require checking testing)- Fiamma bike rack- Kampa Camper Pod Maxi Awning 
I’ve also fitted roof rack we used for carrying canoes and Fiamma bike rack worth around £300. I’ll even include the Kampa Pod Maxi full awning we have too if the asking price is paid. This cost over £450 and has been used twice. These two will both be included if the asking price is paid or price can be negotiated without these. The roof rack is obviously included regardless. 
Mechanically it’s really up together. Since I’ve had it I’ve replaced front calliper and new front brakes as well as the timing belt, water pump and full service within the last couple of thousand miles. Also just carried out an oil and filter change, replaced battery and the glow plugs and fresh MOT which is passed first time with some minor advisories (please check the MOT history online). The engine always maintains good oil pressure as there is oil pressure gauge to monitor this. It has fully stamped service book up to 168,000 miles which is all VW main dealer apart from the last one!

As with all these T4 campers it’s had some welding carried out by professional restoration welding company.
These guys are fantastic and their welding is second to none so it’s not just been patched up. All the old corrosion has been removed and cut out with new metal welded in and then fully under sealed. This cost me £1500. The underside is now solid and will be for many years to come. 
It starts first time every time and runs really well. It’s great to drive and is comfortable and quiet. It’s covered 177,800 miles which is nothing for these vans. She’s been well maintained and has well looked after and do regret not enjoying it more when had the time. 
So all in all it’s decent T4 that is ready to be enjoyed but there are some minor jobs that require finishing off but these don’t prevent tit from using it and they are as follows
- Water tank is fitted underneath but not plumbed in. have the rest of the equipment so this can be done with relative ease.  - 240v hook up fuse box is there but all needs wiring in. We never needed to; the inverter leisure battery was always sufficient. - Would benefit from new head unit used to work ok but not great. - Dash has been painted black as it was grey. Sounds worse that it is but it’s not perfect. I’m fussy too and it’s never really bothered me.
