VW T25 Surf-bus/Camper with mad Landrover 3500cc V8 Engine! If you want classic VW but with serious grunt this is the bus for you. The engine conversion was done previous owners ago. Just after bought it in 2014 we upgraded the original Rover 3500cc V8 in the bus to an Ex- Ministry of Defence Landrover 3500cc V8. The bus now pulls like train and sounds like V8 rally car. It'll sit on the motorway at 70mph and has no problem with hills as the under powered Volkswagen engines had. 
Since bought it its had the replacement V8 engine, new fuel tank, blower motor, electrical camping hook up, SSP alloy wheels, the radiator pressure tested, new break calliper and break service and new towing electrics hooked up. I'm sure there is more i've forgotten. There is file of paper work with this bus.
The bus is Mot'd till August 2017. Last Mot it only needed steering gaters and has only done few hundred miles since then as it was stored over winter. The mileage reads 70k miles but its on at least its 3rd engine so no way to know for sure.The engine swap is present on the V5 document.
This is usualable classic with serious attitude so its not show winning bus. It has had some diy paint jobs even before bought it so looks the business from distance but the rust repairs and paint etc are obvious up close. It is 33 year old vehicle so like all classics has quirks. It has standard speed gearbox but its driven as speed due to the torque being too much for the VW 1st gear.
There are sets of keys for the van and it comes with roof bars to strap the surf boards to as well as DAB Radio converter i'm leaving innthe van.
The van is being sold through my friends garage as i'm on holiday for the next few weeks.
