Last chance to buy our rock solid T2 before she goes into storage for the winter. Major plus points, that you won’t find with many T2s out there: o We know her provenance from new. She was bought by close family friend and we inherited her about 20 years ago. o Her chassis is rock solid, including the factory-fitted protection panels that most campers are missing (they get removed to make maintenance easier for DIYers). o She has new camper interior, including Smev hook and sink unit (and gas bottle). o She runs like dream. ran her up up VanFest in September and she was fine. o The van is classic vehicle, so Tax exempt. Points to consider: o Her paintwork is 18 years old, so she needs cosmetic respray. o The rear door and engine hatch surrounds will need some TLC at some point. o The front passenger side wheel bearing was replaced last year, and we think the driver’s side will need doing next year. o Driver’s door lock doesn’t work at the moment. o Smev unit needs power – we have leisure battery kit (from JustKampers) ready to install. Overall, she’s really solid camper that needs bit of TLC over the winter to make her into fantastic van for next summer.
