The vanregistration number is EY04 FYX.It is 2004,311Cdi, 109 Bhp SprinterThe mileageis quite high: 245 000 miles, but engine is sound, pulls like it should,and as everyone who knows this type of Mercedes realises, they can easly doanother 250 000 miles if looked after.Last year Ihad the engine checked and compression on all cylinders was as in new vehicle.Turbo is dry and doesn’t show any signs of wear. When Ibought this van two years ago it had speed limiter fitted set up to 65 milesper hour. It is removed now so van can go about 105Mph if you need it.One smallminus: glow plugs on second and third cylinders need replacing, however the vanstarts always in any weather conditions with no problems at all.Front tyresare new have done about 1000 miles since have them fitted. Rear tyres willlast for another 30 000 miles.Mechanicallyvan is in very good condition and it will come with 12 months MOT, which willdo when sell it.Bodywork isin good condition but with some small rust signs on the bottom of sliding door,bottom of passenger door, front right wheel arch and some places on the seals.Nothing serious. The van isconverted to camper with seats, however in the logbook it is still panelvan with seats. never have time or need to sort out paperwork for it so Iwas driving it as it is. New owner can apply to DVLA to change seats number andbody type or just drive as it is. All seats are equiped with seatbelts andpropely fitted to the floor. have never tested them but I’m quite surethey’ll pass any safety test. The van has2 double beds. So all passengers can sleep in it.One bed isin the rear size L-1,78m W-1,28m) and it is folding to two double seats.When you put table between them you have nice sitting room.Second bedis situated in front (size W-1m L-1,82m). You just need to fold passengerseats and set up the bed. Front bed is quite narrow but it is comfortable fortwo kids or adequate for two adults. Setting up the beds take less than 4minutes for both.All windowsin the rear of the vehicle are darkened and equiped with roller blinds. All thevan is insulated, and it is quite cold even in hot weather conditions. Lastyear was in Itally with my familly in July, and it wasn’t very hot insideeven the van haven’t air conditioning. Under rearsettees you have two large storage compartments.In reardoor have fitted two “bottle stores”. Each cupboard can store bottles of wineor 18 cans of beer or soft drinks.Above yourhead have situated large lockers on the right side of the vehicle and 2small lockers on the left side. The van has sink with cold and hot water, 2hob cooker (gas), shower with cold and hot water and portable toilet. To take ashower you need to remove toilet from the bathroom. The van hasan 87 litre tank for clean water, so it is big enough for multi-day trip. Itcan easly be toped up in few minutes. Boiler is warming up from 15 degrees upto 60 degrees in about 60 minutes. It is 9,5 litre boiler and it is big enoughfor people to take normal shower or for people to take quick shower.Boiler has 12V heating element and it needs to be on while driving to warm upthe water. On the rearof the van you have additional lights run from separate battery. Under thekitchen worktop have situated blue LED tape for an extra efect. The van has240V sockets run from separate battery through 2000W inverter, so you haveno worries about starting the van in the morning. All lights inside are LED’sso extra small power consumption. On the roof you have two 250W solar panels tocharge up bateries howewer they are also charged by alternator while engine isrunning. All electric processes are automatic.The van isalso equiped with fan heating running on 240V. You need connect extension leadto run it because it is totally separate and can be used only when connected tothe mains. It will easily warm up the van in any weather conditions. I wrotethis description as honestly can. However strongly recommended you to comeand see the van before you make decision about buying it. It is self madecamper, so not everything is prefect. Some pieces needs to be finished, touchedup with paint, washed up etc. The van wasstored in the garden from last summer, so it needs to be washed in and out. You can seethe van in Hempnall NR15 2NU.
