For sale is our Mercedes 814 Vario minibus, recent conversion:

Sadly were selling our dream bus, we spent long time planning and getting the vehicle ready for travelling live in; however sadly our little boys special needs have forced the decision that we need to change things to meet his needs in different way. Hope this explains why were selling such new conversion.
Spec as follows:
1995 plate, ltr diesel, ex 24 seater minibus, runs and drives really well, its been looked after by us and the previous owners (most recent was private coach firm, only sold as they required wheelchair lift for current contracts). Mileage taco in km converted to approx. 300k miles.
Over 3.5tn, 4.1tn un-ladened weight, Category C1 licence needed (licences issued pre Dec96 automatic entitlement, see link for info. https://www.gov.uk/old-driving-licence-categories)
Full service last summer, MOT due august 2017 and has only driven about 250 miles since then.
Mercedes Vario's are gaining classic cult status like VW and TK horseboxes, so are good investment vehicles as they hold value well and have the famed million mile engines and classic German engineering.
Professionally converted summer 2016 to high spec for off grid living/travelling, fully insulated, full painted wood interior, clear living spaces, galley kitchen inc. calor gas 2ring hob/oven/grill, dining area with removable table 3no. Legally compliant 3point seat belts, burner sofa lounge space and king size moroccon style bed chill area at rear.
Large wardrobe and draw, large kitchen cupboards, tons of storage under seats, above head in original bus shelves, we haven’t used it all even with 2children. Large boot.
LED lighting throughout and colour changing LED’s above the lounge/dining area.

Solar spec for off grid living/ camping, 1no. 150w panel, connected to charge controller and 1k watt inverter, included in sale are leisure batteries, kept topped up by the panel, the controls for this are easy to use and understand.
Mains 1000w inverter located in boot services area, from this you can hook up to the electric on campsites or at home when parked up. Inverter will power most appliances within this range, from the inverter power banks inside, located by bed and kitchen table.
3no. Usb 12v cigarette type charging stations car wifi dongle point, located by kitchen table area, lounge sofa bed so you wont struggle finding somewhere to plug in.
Also included 1no. red 13kg gas and regulator so you really are ready to go as soon as you buy it.
note:
These Mercedes engines are classed as 'the million mile engine', so technically, its only just run in. Test drive available please bear in mind, cat c1 entitlement required to drive vehicles over 3.5 to, this comes in at 4.1 ton un-ladened weight, drives well and doesn't take over the whole road.
There are couple of rust spots on the bus but nothing bit of TLC wont fix, recently t- cut the whole bus and it shines like new.
It will need sink dropping in for DVLA re-classification, currently insured as under conversion, we were in process of starting this however sons needs have escalated so require sale.
