You are looking at Wupy, our well-loved Laika EcoVIP 200i. Registered in 2000, she is LHD making her ideal for European holidays. We have had her since 2015, but it is now time to downsize. We have done long tours of UK and Europe venturing as far as Gibraltar and Morocco. She makes great festival van and has done Glastonbury, IOW, and Carfest on several occasions as well as many local ones. Based on an Iveco chassis with the fiat 2.8TD, while she will happily cruise at 70, at more sensible 55-60 she eats the miles up. She has cruise control fitted, and at 60mph, with the 6-speed gearbox the engine is at around 2000rpm. She has Torquing tuning box fitted (easy to remove) This has given her much more torque and easier cruising, with less gear changes required and she pulls up hills lot better than stock. Mileage is just over 54,350. MOT due July 2020. She is 6.43m (21ft 1in) long. Habitation check May 2020 with new regulator, pig tail, fire extinguisher, CO2 and smoke detector. She sleeps at push, in the above cab drop down bed, in the built-in rear bunks, in the centre dinette double and one on the side dinette. But it is great van for family of 4/5 as you can leave the centre dinette as table all the time. seatbelts, point and lapbelt. While in Morocco last time the temperature was over 35 degrees, and the built-in gas/12v/220v fridge could not handle it, so we went ice-less for the G&T. On our return stripped the fridge out and fitted Waeco Dometic CRX110 12v compressor fridge. This is installed on its own wiring harness with separate switch. To keep the fridge running, along with the rest of the van, Wupy has 200w of solar panels on the roof connected to 135ah Banner Energy Bull leisure batteries. Since fitting this, we have never had to hook up at site. Outside there is 4m Thule-Omnistore awning with side panel, less than years old. An outside BBQ point, electric double steps. It has towbar (not fitted at the moment) along with bike rack if you want it. built-in ladder gives easy access to the roof. She has custom-made silver screen windscreen cover which keeps her nice and warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. It has marine toilet system which means gives you three cassette worth of storage, very useful if you are wild camping for several days. There is pipe which you can shoot the contents into drain, but have capped this as when we bought the van it leaked it little, so you now attach Thetford cassette (included) for emptying. Shower and washbasin in end bathroom. Kitchen consists of SMEV burner hob, SMEV oven and grill and sink with hot/cold water. Usual Truma boiler and gas heating, Fiamma turbo vents keep the air circulating on warm nights and are virtually silent when running at low speeds.  Loads of storage, both inside and under the van. overhead lockers, hanging wardrobe, drinks cabinet and drawers. Lower bunk can be raised to give side entrance garage big enough for couple of bikes, while still keeping the upper bunk usable for sleeping. Connectivity is always important these days and Wupy has Solwise wi-fi repeater and roof mounted 20db antenna. This allows you to pick up Wi-Fi signal, boost it and then create your own Wi-Fi hotspot in the van. This very useful when on site you have to pay for each device you connect, just connect the Solwise and then link all your devices to that! On the roof there is 4G Omni directional external antenna coupled to Huawei E5372 4G  router, currently on three, but can be unlocked. Pop in sim and you have 4G mobile hotspot. We have used this lot and have streamed an Amazon Firestick through it. There is Snipe fully automatic satellite system on the roof, simply select Astra 2, and it will find the satellite and lock into it. The signal is then fed to Freesat box connected to Cello 19” 12v TV with built in DVD player. small hard drive is also attached to the Freesat box so you can, pause and record programs.  TV and freesat box work off same remote control. In the cab there is Sony head unit with DAB, Bluetooth hands free phone, and USB input. Twin rear-view camera, always on when travelling, changes view when reverse is engaged. 3 double USB sockets scattered around the van to keep ipads, phones etc charged.  The WIFI, TV, Satellite, remote outside light and USB sockets can all be turned off/on via custom-made switch panel.
Loads More Pics HERE The Bad bits Wupy is now nearly 20 years old, and while built like brick out house, she is showing her age little. The door locks on the cab don’t work, but as she has Fiamma high security locks, this has made no difference. We have also fitted quick release chains which secure the doors from the inside. She has had couple of arguments while driving, the first with Volvo coach which knocked her wing mirror off, cracking the kitchen window which has been patched and doesn’t leak (see pic) The wing mirror was also replaced. Second was with badger, which made bit of mess of the front lower bumper, it has been ‘fixed’ and is sound, but could do with bit of TLC. Based in Ipswich, you are welcome to come and kick the tyres and push all the buttons. Please don’t come expecting showroom, dent free, model, she isn’t that, please view and judge yourself. Any questions please ask.  £200 deposit and then balance on collection, cash, BACS or cleared cheque.
