Sleeping – Full size double bed (6'2" 4'6") with memory foam mattress and sprung slats. Bed is fitted transversely across the van, minimising wasted space.
Seating – Comfortable seating area consisting of foam cushions covered with hardwearing removable covers, along with sturdy removable dining table. Large amounts of storage is available underneath the seats.
Cooking – Spacious kitchen area with triple gas hobs, sink with mixer tap, plentiful cupboard space fitted with soft close hinges, and Waeco 80L super-efficient compressor fridge/freezer.
Bathroom – Fully waterproofed cubicle with electric flushing chemical toilet and mixer tap with water-saving showerhead. There is skylight to provide daylight and ventilation.
Electrical – 110Ah leisure batteries, charged via Sterling 30A Battery-to-Battery charger (far superior to split charge relays), with all appliances running through central fusebox and appropriate cabling. External mains hook up fitted, capable of charging batteries and powering internal mains sockets. All lights are LEDs, including four main ceiling lights, five touch sensitive downlighters, and two swivel reading lights above the bed.
Water – 70L fresh water tank, filled via external locking fill point. Shurflo pump and pressure accumulator ensuring consistent flow. Malaga LPG water boiler heats enough water for two showers in short time. All water fittings use pushfit system, with stop taps to isolate appliances if needed. 50L waste water tank fitted under the chassis, with an external outlet to the nearside sill.
Gas – 11kg ‘GasIt’ refillable LPG system, with external fill point and adapters to cover all of Europe. Gas bottle locker accessed via rear doors, with way manifold and 8mm copper piping throughout. The hobs, water boiler and air heater use this bottle. Heater is 2kW Propex heater, with two outlets in the living area, and thermostat that can be controlled from both the kitchen and the bed.
Other – Large storage area accessed via rear doors, capable of fitting skis, bikes (wheels removed), and anything else you can think of. All windows and skylights are double glazed and have both flynets and blackout blinds. Van is fitted with ‘winter’ marked tyres, allowing you to travel anywhere in Europe at any time of the year. Van is fully insulated with combination of Celotex, recycled plastic ‘wool’, and aluminium ‘bubble foil’ vapour barrier – it was perfectly comfortable down to minus 15degC!
