It is high spec van, better than the standard conversion with some really cool modifications to the living area. (See below listing of all features)
Most notably it has an extra power outlet and power supply where you can plug in and run mains powered items when you are off grid, such as full size (2000w) hairdryer, batteries for electric bikes etc. Most van conversions have plug sockets, but they don't work unless you're plugged into the mains at campsite, which is pretty useless when you are at festival for example.
The back end is more unusual layout with lift up bed rather than bench seats and table. We chose this because it allows for extra storage at the back when travelling, so lot of larger items will fit in. There is divider panel which you can slide into the corridor walk space at the back which stops items moving forwards in the van, plus there are rails along the the lower rear cupboards where you can secure luggage to ensure they are safe when travelling.
The van has belted travelling seats which once again is quite unusual.
We also have Thule top box and high quality Vango Galli blow up awning which we always used with the van. These items are not included in the sale but can be purchased separately.
We found that the extra storage capacity both from the lift up bed layout made the van really versatile and great in virtually every situation and the addition of the top box, with the blow up awning for extra sleeping and day space gives it even more flexibility to have more people on the holiday. Being panel van it is smaller than coach built motor homes so it goes anywhere too, fits down country lanes, fits into standard parking spaces, its easy to drive, and is no slouch on the motorway with the upgraded engine. It really is the best of all worlds.
The bed is really comfy. The van can be lit up with funky mood lighting so its really cozy at night. There is TV which you can watch in bed or unclip it and move into the front cab area.There is toilet and nice hot shower, very effective central heating, gas hob and grill and microwave.The carpets are removeable, they attach with press studs, underneath is light coloured wood effect vinyl which is easy to keep clean
It really is great van and we are sad to be letting it go.
The habitation check is due but we will ensure it gets done before its sold.
