The engine itself in the Tribute T-720 motorhome is 2.2-litre, 140bhp Euro 5-compliant engine and six-speed gearbox, meaning that it has enough grunt to tackle hills, while returning economy figures of around 33mpg. The car-like Transit cab offers commanding driving position with good visibility, largely unobstructed by the A-pillars. The ride is comfortable, meaning you will have no issues travelling long distances. The Transit exhibits more body roll than its rivals when tackling sharp corners. The set-up of the suspension and the conversion’s build quality keep noise from the habitation area at very good level. Specification is good too, you have: cruise control, leather steering wheel with radio control, electric mirrors and doors, heated windscreen, radio MP3 player, reversing camera and six speed manual gearbox. Just above the cab, you will come across the large bed, which has the capability of being retracted back and fourth, to allow more headroom. The bed itself is very comfortable and assures great nights sleep, whilst there is separation curtain which draws across. In addition to small window on the nearside for natural light, the overcab sleeping area has an electric light at the offside end. The next area of notice in the T720 is the front lounge, which incorporates two forward facing seats, with belts too. When stationery, this area is useful for dining purposes, whilst at night time it becomes further sleeping arrangement, with another double bed being erected. Lighting is plentiful, too; in addition to an LED strip running along the underside of the overhead lockers, there’s rooflight above the kitchen to allow cooking odours and condensation to leave the ’van quickly, plus large window behind the cooker and sink. Directly opposite the kitchen is the washroom area. As you enter through wooden door with domestic-style handle, you’ll find hand basin flanked by swivel cassette toilet, to the left, and separate shower cubicle. drying rail for wet towels and clothes makes the shower very practical for family use. The fully lined cubicle also boasts holder for shampoo and shower gel and bi-fold door. Moving to the rear of the T720, you will present yourself to the end lounge. With three surrounding windows, you are assured of great views and natural light. If you wish to eat in this location, there is retractable table, which simply slots into the metal bar. The rear bed measures 2.08m 1.35m (6”9’ 4”5’) – and is made up by pulling out slatted base from the box on the rear wall and arrange the seat cushions so they are flat and fill the available space.
