1990 registration.

MOT expires 25th October 2019.

Currently: SORN. (Taxed up to 25th June 2019)

I haven't had her long acquiring her from an old family friend at the end of March who can no longer drive her.

2 Keys for ignition and key for door locks (Had replacement ignition barrel put in recently)

2.0 Petrol with 101,861 miles which equates to around 3,500 miles per year.

MOT Expiry 25th October 2019.

Fully functional Shower.
Fridge.
Cooker.
Sink/Taps.

Good tyres.

Good fuel economy.

Manual Gearbox.

This vehicle does not have power steering.

Started first time every time before Alternator Brush Pack failed..

The inside is absolutely bone dry, no damp and no indications of water penetration anywhere.

Upholstery is in good condition for its age. Floor carpet just needs Vacuum.

Driver and passenger seats turn.

Passenger seat seam needs restitching.

Bike rack on the back and sturdy steps for getting in and out of the CamperVan.

It boasts fully functional Awning.


I had purchased the CamperVan to restore but unfortunately just haven't the time to attend to her and so this can be great project for someone else.

In fact fix the Alternator and it will take you wherever you want to go straight off the bat.

This CamperVan is 29 years old and so there are few bits of rust that will need chasing but on the whole the bodywork is pretty good for its age.

Has main and Leisure battery.

Goes with fully functional hookup cable.

It does not smell damp or musty.

Engine when running sounds nice and it runs very well..


BAD POINTS:


1) The Alternator has packed up because the Brush Pack has failed. have the brush pack and alternator still.

Before the Alternator failed she ran very well in the time had her and had no known issues with the engine.

I did trip to Skegness, to Matlock and other local destinations, before the Alternator failed, all without issue.

Recently put new spark plugs in, have new set of HT leads to go on, new header water expansion cap also..


2) The internal water heater has slight leak underneath which noticed when last using the shower not excessive but will need looking at.


3) Suffers, as many Talbots do, with second gear issue.
You can get second gear if you double clutch or it grinds going in.
1-3-4-5, are absolutely fine.


4) Few little bits of bodywork to address as have tried to show in the pictures.
But, for its age the bodywork is pretty good.

5) Heater Matrix does not blow warm and don't know why. haven't got that far with it yet.

6) Nearside sliding door locks only from the inside as it is temperamental from the key, sometimes it will lock and others not.

All other doors fully lock and unlock off the key.

I am not going to have the time to give her the attention she needs but if you get the Alternator fixed straight away you have running CamperVan and the other issues you can resolve at your leisure.



The low start price reflects the few issues needing addressed and this is the minimum will accept..

It can be longer if arranged but it cannot be longer than 10 days post sale.

I also require an immediate £25 holding deposit via bank transfer on auction closure.
