Veryrare 1950 Mobile Sportsman! If you're looking for atraditional “canned ham” vintage trailer that’s remarkably preserved, look nofurther.  You will have to look far and wide to find another trailer inbetter condition that hasn’t been completely rebuilt from the frame up. (And if you’re knowledgeable about vintage trailers, you’re going to love allthe original “extras” this trailer has!)
We are the SECOND ownersof this beautiful piece of American history.  This is better than “barnfind,” as we’ve found no evidence of mice or any other kind ofinfestation.  This trailer is as close to time capsule as you can get.
·        Sleeps 6!·       All interior is ENTIRELY original! (minusdécor, of course)·       Beautiful Birch interior, all wall panelsand cupboards are original.·       Dinette which folds down into bed.·       Dinette cushions covered with brand neweasy to clean red faux leather with stretch mesh backing.  ·       Original “Detroit Jewel” stove. Still looks brand new inside and out, AND everything works!  (Stove, oven,AND broiler!)·       Original “Sanitary” brand ice box, alsoin remarkable condition.·       Original Panelray furnace, in excellentworking condition.  It fired right up on the first try.·       Original “Hollywood Bed.”  That’sright, this trailer contains the actual full size mattress and box spring thatwas included with the trailer 67 years ago!  The box spring has few tearson the side, but the mattress still looks brand new, with absolutely no stains,rips or tears.·       Very sturdy metal bunk with comfortablemattress for additional sleeping space.·       Solid floors throughout with new vinylflooring. (Original flooring is underneath, still in decent shape, but veryfaded.)·       New 6.00-16" inch whitewall tires with repackedwheel bearings and original moon caps.·       Two used spare tires (no rims) also included.·       Original Bargman door handles and lockson both front and back doors, both with working locks. (Back “emergency”doorlocks from inside only, front door locks from both inside and outside.) Key for front door is the original Thomas Bargman key that came with thetrailer, plus spares. (VERY rare!)·       Original wood screen doors in both thefront and the back.  Both screen doors are in remarkable condition.·       Original fire extinguisher, hardwirednightlights, spice rack above oven, and can opener attached to wall.·       The exterior was restored to what itwould’ve looked like straight from the factory in 1950.  We polished theexterior with 3-step polishing process using the NuVite brand polishes, andthen painted the thin red stripe on the sides using high gloss industrialgrade paint.·       The frame and hitch are in excellentcondition.  We applied coat of red oxide primer and then an additionalcoat of black implement paint to further protect the frame and hitch. VERY solid!·       2" Hitch Ball·       4-Pin Light Connector·       Only 17.5' from bumper to hitch! ·       8.5' high and 7' wide·        Only 2100 lbs according to title!!!·       Clean Michigan Title in our names, inaddition to the ORIGINAL title from 1957 in amazing condition!!·       She's ready to roll!
This is 67 year old piece of Americanhistory, so it’s not perfect.   It has dents and dings on theexterior due to its age, but we believe they just add to the history andcharacter.  Overall it is in great condition and pulls down the road easily.No Reserve!
