Up for sale is my Hino GT173 four wheel drive tipper with drop down sides and crane. bought this truck to use whilst building my house and now am finished with it. It has had VERY lazy life -I bought it off friend who had it as an emergency cable winch truck to use up the four wheel drive tracks pulling Telstra cables, he owned it for quite few years and hardly used it. bought it years ago and have put couple of thousand k's on it. have mainly used it for moving dirt as was excavating and for moving my skid steer around. It is very capable as was filling it up with dirt and driving up my very steep dirt driveway without any issues.

Included are pair of ramps to load skid steer or excavator.
Also included is an auger which attaches to the end of the crane.
It has single wheels on the rear which limits its gross weight to 10T. The tare is 7800kg with the crane on it put it on the weigh bridge (the rego label has tare of 8620kg, not sure why).
It has high and low four wheel drive with limited slip diff.
I have replaced: the brake slave cylinders, clutch master and slave cylinders, windscreen, all the seals in the main hydraulic pump. New batteries.
I have just given the tipper tub coat of paint.
The sides drop down so it can be loaded with fork lift.
There are lifting chains and an extension bar included for the crane.
There is an under-hanging tool box for ropes and chains.
The back either drops down to load equipment or it lifts up to offload dirt. It has adjustment chains on the back for tip and run spreading.
It is very clean inside for 30 year old truck.

I am selling with RWC but will need few weeks to organise it. It doesn't need much but it takes while to book in. The rego is due now and will be paying for the next 12 months. It is currently registered as machine and costs around $750 year to register. If you want to sort the road worthy out yourself am happy to drop the price by $1000. If it is going to be used on farm and not required to be registered will also keep the plates and drop it by another $750.

I will try to describe everything that needs attention or buyer should be aware of:
The paint on the cab is thin and it has started to rust -it will need respray. was going to sort this out but don't have time. also assume that whoever purchases would most likely like to get it painted in whatever colour their business normally runs so better not waste the $. This way you can also see what you are getting.
The front bumper is not original and has been replaced with steel box section.
There is minor leak in the hydraulic valve body that controls the crane. The valve that moves the stabilisers up and down drips whilst it is under pressure. am fairly sure this is just an ring.
One of the rams on the crane has an internal seal issue. replaced the seal but it did not fix it as the ram has small groove internally. It turns out to be really handy as the crane lowers very slowly by itself. This is very handy of you are by yourself and are loading or unloading as you can guide the load down by hand with out someone at the controls.
The cooling fan has one of the blades missing -this is not biggy but is worth noting. was going to just cut off the one opposite as it does have six (five) blades.
The air for the brakes leaks from the control valve at the front after the vehicle has been turned off. have been told this is just an adjustment but don't know how to do it.
The drivers seat has small tear. This will require me to put seat cover on it for the RWC. But again, should be noted.
The dash just above the glove box has started to crack and peel.
I think that is it.

It can be viewed in Ferntree Gully, eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
