Selling my 1950s Hawthorn Caravan, very rare van. Very much like Carapark caravans I've owned before but so different.From my research it could be of one built by Hawthorn, most Hawthorn vans are Bondwood
Have not touched the inside, perfect to restore. As you can see the original overhead cabinets, wardrobe and kitchen look almost perfect for 60 year old van, even the drop down table looks great.Has heavy beam style chassis, not lightweight angle iron chassis.All steel framework.New heavy duty drop down axle.New stud hubs.Have fitted stud Chev rims with good used tyres from my old Carapark van.Ready for restore or conversion to food or coffee van.240 volt wiring all there and looks good.Have door to refit in the next few days, will be done before pickup.Pickup only from Lilydale Vic.Have ran out of time to finish, about to move for work so must go.
