Ever wanted to pack up the family and do 'The Big Lap'? Or grab bunch of mates and hit the road for the adventure of lifetime?

We are selling our 1990 MAN 16-240 bus and all the work is already done.


HOME:

(Approved) seating for with 1x child seat safety hitch.

Bedding consists of 1x double bed at the rear, 1x small child cot/ bed, long enough to suit up to 6-8yrs, 1x extra long fully enclosed 'cave' bunk (ideal for lanky teenagers) and space for second one underneath. We have been using underneath for tool storage, but add mattress, remove doors and you have another bunk. Child's cot has own opening window, ceiling fan, vent and 'baby monitor' (aka door viewer.) Extra long bunk has opening windows and space at the end of the bed for clothes boxes etc. Bottom bunk also has extra space at end but no opening window. Double bed is in private bedroom with doors both into the bus and outside, lots of windows and fold down desk work space.

There is tonnes of storage under beds, and lots of extra drawers and cupboards including full-height hanging closet.

Bathroom is roomy with LPG instant hot water shower 9kg LPG bottle underneath and casette toilet. There is loads of shelf space and hooks for hanging. An opening window with bug screen ensures moisture can escape properly.

There is new family-sized Bosch washing machine in the front of the bus for easy access. It runs off generator (supplied) or 240v and connects to mains water via hose (supplied).

Kitchen has double LPG burner (second 9kg gas bottle supplied) 95(?)L upright fridge/freezer wich runs entirely on solar, loads of storage and huge bench space.

Hidden under the second bench is 400l of fresh water, enough to go off grid comfortably for week. The water tanks are hooked up to retractible hose with an inline tap to make filling super easy. it also has viewer so you can see how much water you have at any time.

My favourite part of the bus- wood heater/ rocket stove! It has an external chimney which attaches via 'cat flap' that keeps weather out when not in use. This little fireplace is the s**t! It throws out more than enough heat and runs on sticks. We were in the snowy mountains winters ago and were extremely warm and toasty while it was snowing outside. the cook plate is pot-sized, and slow-cooks yummy casserole to perfection!
