Cavalier Rough Road Camper Trailer For Sale
We are sadly selling our beloved camper trailer, she is still in excellent condition and would suit new trailer buyer.
Genuine Australian made in South Australia, 2008 model cost over $14,500 new with all the extras. It is an Aussie built trailer and tent.The Canvas tent is in excellent condition. Everyone raves about the thickness of Australian canvas vs Chinese. There is more to it than that, it is also the quality of the waxing that actually makes it waterproof. Cavalier use Wax Converters, the same guys who do our Army tents.  This tent is the blue deluxe with full 15 oz walls and roof, no 12oz walls here. It is the longer 14 foot model.
The photos with the tarp over the top is to keep bird poo and tree wax off the canvas, it also helps keep it cooler. This is one waterproof set up, we have also encountered severe storms in the Gippsland, and our trailer stood up awesomely, especially compared to the tents that got destroyed in the gale force winds. There is some fading and some marks on the roof canvas of the awning, the actual tent is very good. This is cosmetic only. Inspection is welcomed to ensure satisfaction.
Basic tent set up is quick, only 15 mins, the awnings take bit longer.This camper has been towed by my car, and by our SUV.  Basic weight is 750 kgs, so no brakes required unless you overload it.
